We currently have almost 450 members, and our UK/International District covers the UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East, Australia, and New Zealand.
The Executive Committee holds 4 meetings per year as well as Zoom sessions occasionally, purely for convenience, as we don’t all live in the same vicinity.
We create and distribute 4/5 Newsletters per year mostly by email, but we do still have some members who receive correspondence by Royal Mail. Hopefully more members will be forwarding their email addresses in the future to save postage costs.
Every May, we hold our AGM and a Christmas Lunch at the beginning of December.
Last summer we organised a very successful picnic in the park in Runnymede (by the Thames) which included boat rides down the river. We plan to repeat this event in June 2024. We always encourage new members to join our District and have a host of new social events being worked on for 2024. Watch this space!
